Preface

The group of well learned persons associated with Tax Publishers wanted to ignite the thought process of readers on tax matters and the resultant is the weekly series titled 'Monday Corner'

Every week, one practical query was posted in the website besides circulation through email soliciting views of its readers across the country. The response to the weekly query gradually increased and the publisher rewarded the correct or the most appropriate answer with a recently published reference book on the subject. Where the winners were more than one, it was decided by means of drawing of lot.

In the calendar year 2023, there were 42 such queries and replies published in the website of the publisher. I was entrusted with the task of editing the answers which were already vetted by the editors. This publication in the form of booklet contains queries and replies which have been published in the website www.taxpublishers.in with very minimal value addition from myself.

This practice if continued, the readers would be greatly benefitted. I am sure the readers would find the publication useful for quick reference though presently it has only some select issues.
