Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) is mainly responsible for administration of the Companies Act, 2013 and LLP Act, 2008 as well as other allied laws and rules and regulations made thereunder to regulate the functioning of corporate sector. It only supervises the professional bodies. Recently, MCAs website has been revamped and version 3.0 has been launched to strengthen enforcement and ease of doing business in India. It is the first mission mode e-governance project of Government of India. Learned author elucidate sections of the new website.
