National Savings Time Deposits : 1 year, 2 years, 3 years and 5 years

1. Duration

Duration of deposit can be 1 years, 2 years, 3 years and 5 years.

Where a deposit in an account has become due for repayment, the account holder may at his option by making an application to the accounts may further extend the account for another tenure for which the account was initially opened.

n Where an extension is made the option for extension shall be exercised as specified in the table below:
